Overheated markets could take longer.  Check out his comments at &lt;a href="http://www.money99.com"&gt;www.money99.com&lt;/a&gt;.&lt;br /&gt;In our northern suburbs, we are still seeing sales, yet it is still the same mantra-great houses (read resales that are updated, clean, painted, etc) are still in a sellers market mode, average houses are in a buyer's market mode.  There are some sellers with their heads in the sand about their own home's condition and they need to get real about what buyers have always wanted in a resale - LIKE NEW- because of the HUGE inventory of new homes here in Atlanta, they have better choices out there.
